Sumbwe Community hospital is situated in Ssumbwe, Bulaga Wakiso District. With humble beginnings, it was started by a few concerned people of Ssumbwe community facilitated by Mr. Richard Mukasa Ssenyonga considering the emerging need to cater for the health needs of the surrounding communities which include but not limited to the people of Wakiso, Mpigi, Mityana, Kampala and Mukono districts.
We are partly a for profit and a not-for-profit hospital open 24 hours, with an emergency and accident Unit, Outpatient and inpatient unit, Maternity and Antenatal services, Surgery unit, Laboratory services, Ambulance, general medicine and Community based rehabilitation.
We work as a team of health care professionals and volunteers to provide tailored solutions and evidence-based approach to medicine.
